About Hitchin Mosque
A home for worship, learning, and community since January 1984. The Hitchin Jaami' Masjid sits quietly on Florence Street.
Our Mission
To help the people of Hitchin, Letchworth, and surrounding areas to learn more about Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development. We provide a welcoming space for worship, education, and community building, open to all who seek knowledge and peace.
Our Vision
In a rural town, the mosque is much more than a place of worship. It is a symbol of hope and the heart of the local Muslim population and community, a beacon of light and knowledge where people come together to learn and grow.
